Yesterday was a long day, a long car drive, a lot of ‘sit and git,’ and by the time the campfire ended and cracker barrel finished, the scouts were ready for the bag. I know I was. The day was filled with the sights, sounds, and smells of camp....

One more day…. It is the day before camp and I need to pack and finish a multitude of other need to do tasks and all through the house, and probably twenty or so other homes!…. The past couple of weeks have been busy getting ready for camp at meetings...

Troop 35 had a great time this past weekend at Starved Rock State Park near Utica, Illinois. Twenty scouts and seven adults enjoyed the adventure, which for nine of our new scouts – their very first outdoor camping experience as a Boy Scout....
