A Summer of Scouting
Summer was full of fun, adventure, and plenty of memories for Troop 35!
To help our newer Scouts prepare for summer camp, we kicked off the season with a campout at Blackwell Forest Preserve, where Scouts enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time together outdoors.
Then it was off to Tesomas Scout Camp, where 23 Scouts enjoyed a week filled with adventure. Highlights included time in the dining hall, shooting sports, and, of course, plenty of Mountain Dew!
The summer also brought a special celebration as Troop 35 gathered for Brycen’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor, recognizing his hard work and achievement.
To wrap things up, our Scouts gave back to the community by volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, where they worked together to pack meals for children in need around the world.
