Spring Adventures and New Beginnings

Spring was full of adventure for Troop 35! The Troop welcomed five awesome new Scouts from two Wheaton-area Cub Scout Packs.

The Scouts enjoyed a camping trip to Camp Cary in Indiana, followed by a visit to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. In April, Troop 35 attended the U.S. Grant Pilgrimage, participating in the parade, watching the reenactment, exploring the Civil War encampment, and visiting the local shops.

In May, several Scouts put their navigation skills to the test at an orienteering event hosted by the Chicago Area Orienteering Club. The Scouts had a great time learning new skills and competing on the course!
