2012 Campouts and Outings

January 2012
Junior leadership Training – Winfield Community Church.
Tomo-Chi-Chi – Cabin camping in western Kane County , Illinois. Focus is to develop troop camaraderie, leadership, and doing outdoor activities include hiking and working on scout skills. Polar Bear camping for interested scouts – camping and being outdoors continuously for 24 hours and temperature dips below freezing. Brrrrrrr!

February 2012
Cascade Mountain Skiing and Tubing Trip – cabin camping. Cascade Mountain in Portage, Wisconsin. Cabin camping at Indian Mounds Scout Reservation established in 1917! Focus is to develop troop camaraderie, leadership, and having fun skiing, boarding, and tubing.

March 2012
Spring Court of Honor – celebrating the achievements of the scouts.
Cabin Camping – BMX Biking Trip Ray’s MTB in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Focus is to develop troop camaraderie, leadership, and having fun BMX biking in an indoor terrain park.

April 2012
Tent camping – Starved Rock State Park – Ottawa, Illinois. Focus is to develop troop camaraderie, leadership, and outdoor activities include hiking and working on scout skills – camping and outdoor cooking.

May 2012
Rock Climbing at Devil’s Lake State Park – Baraboo, Wisconsin. Focus is to develop troop camaraderie, leadership, and rock climb with a Scout Venture Crew. Continue to develop scouting skills including cooking and camping.

June 2012
Summer Camp – Camp Tesomas near Rhinelander, Wisconsin. A week-long adventure developing troop camaraderie, leadership, scouting skills, rank advancement, merit badges, and adventure. There is something for everyone, truly.

August 2012
