Even with the stay-at-home order, scouts from Troop 35 are working toward earning merit badges. Some of the badges scouts are working on include Cooking, Family Life, Music, and Reading. For Eagle-Required Family Life, you must complete daily chores plus finish both an individual and family project. You can see in the photos below, one scout is cleaning blinds for his individual project and another is assembling masks as part of a family project. For Eagle-Required Cooking, you must cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, using different cooking techniques. In the photos below, you can see the scouts pan frying breakfast and baking dessert. Although scouts may not be able to finish all of the requirements, they can accomplish quite a lot during the stay-at-home order, even meeting with their merit badge counselor over video calls.
Thank you for supporting Troop 35.Scouts will sell wreaths again in the fall of 2020.
